Day 80 of Ania's Diary

Christmas is over and we only have to wait until tomorrow for Ania's acupuncture. Last evening she was so restless. Not only did I work on her with the acupressure , I massaged her but she could not settle. Her breathing was laboured and we could hear it above the noise of the television.
This is quite distressing to listen to. Eventually she went to lie in the cool upstairs. We very rarely have the heating on up there. Even then she wandered to and fro.
Through the night we had gale force winds and torrential rain. On walking this morning we just squelched through mud. Even at lunchtime the pavements were flooded. It is a nightmare of endless wet dog coats, thick with mud and towels.
We had a brief respite this afternoon when the rain stopped and the sun came out. I looked out the door just now and once again it is pouring with rain.
Ania has now started to breathe badly, the evenings are so bad and I feel as if we are back to square one.
I need to get back to my sewing but I just cant summon up the enthusiasm at the moment.
My bags will be featured in the February issue of Dogs Today so I am hoping to get some orders as I need it to pay for this very expensive acupuncture.
Just for a change we have a picture of Fudge and that completes the 3 dogs.
