It was the hottest night last night but Ania coped well.
This morning we woke up to cloud and a stiff breeze. I managed to get Ania up to the top of the hill for a short walk before taking the others further.
By lunchtime the sun had come out and it was scorching so we are waiting for it to cool down a little and then we will repeat the procedure and I hope I can get Ania up the hill, not very steep I hasten to add. I really do not want to drive 3 or 4 miles today just to take her for no more than a 5 minute walk.
Our friends have gone home today but we are going to stay up here for a few days as if we were home we would not be able to sit outside.
The gazebo is wonderful to sit under and I do not think I have ever sat outside for so long.
Ania was exhausted just being outside and asked to come in the caravan so we have the fan on for her and it is not as hot as it was yesterday and the sun has disappeared which should make a difference very soon.
I have brought sewing to do with me but it is just too hot to do anything except try and keep cool.
Success!!. I have sent the picture in an email to myself taken in Stover Park yesterday. I will do that in future. I do hate to be beaten.
