Day 174 & 175 of Ania's Diary

It is bitterly cold and the biting easterly winds get right through too your bones despite trying to keep warm . The dogs have their coats on, Ania even sleeps in hers. Our walks have been short as I do not want the cold to get into Ania, I am sure this caused her cystitis a few weeks ago.
The wind is relentless, day after day with no signs of it getting any warmer.
Ania's breathing has not been good and even as she sleeps now I can hear it. The vet is away this week so we have to get through to next Monday before she can have her acupuncture. Even walking is proving to be difficult and she is not that happy. Being in the caravan is what makes Ania the happiest.
To save Fudge spending another day in the vets today I am doing a water deprivation test and taking lots of his urine samples. it is hard restricting his water and tomorrow I will take them to the vets first thing in the morning to be analysed. He is well again but cannot stand any other dog running around him. I shall take him out and let him run early in the morning before any other dogs come out until we find out what is wrong with him.
I did not post yesterday as I am so upset about the nastiness of some people on the sites. I belong to various groups all with the aim of helping our dogs with their problems and you always gets someone who spoils it. As they cant be seen they think they can say what they like and I always try to be kind to people.
