Day 195 of Ania's Diary

Thanks to the smoke alarm going off at 5.30am and the dogs barking their head off I got up to put a new battery in. It was not worth going back to bed so it was off to get the car ready and walk the dogs.
There was a frost but the sun soon came up and cleared it. As we were so early the roads were quiet so it was a nice drive up to the caravan. We found a couple of our friends leaving just as we were arriving.
Ania was so happy to be back and on finding the cows had not come back in the field yet we were able to go across. By the time we had been across and back she was exhausted and has been lying on the bed nearly all afternoon. We will go for another walk very soonbut this time I might not take her so far.
The rain clouds are hovering and there has been a couple of very short showers already.
This week is the testing time for Ania. When in Devon she always breathes a lot better so we will see if this happens. If not she is detiorati
ng rapidly and I shall be devastated. How long we stay depends on how well Ania is.
Fudge and Abby are beside me as I write , stretched out. Here in Devon we have some lovely walks and they are all on the flat with no hills to contend with. We are hoping for a nice few days.
