Day 187 of Ania's Diary

Things are not good. We had a dreadful night and apart from her breathing Ania was choking and gagging. I worried it was pneumonia.
We had a very short walk this morning and then went straight to the vets. A lovely vet checked her over. It is all her LP and they are going to try and get hold of our acupuncturist vet.
We cannot travel with her as she is too poorly.
As it was our dog walk she would have been too stressed to be left behind so as it was torrential rain only 2 of us went. We did a very short walk, going very slowly and then went for a coffee and sat on the veranda overlooking the deserted beach. It was pouring with rain.
Since then we have been home and Ania is totally exhausted, her breathing laboured at times.
I am so afraid that time is running out for us.Now she has to have someone with her 24 hours a day in case she chokes.

We will take a very short walk soon and back as quickly as she can go.I hope to report better news tomorrow.
